Correlation of Kaizen With Productivity

Kaizen concept as described above include, among others: Concept 3 M (Muda, Mura, and Muri); Movement 5 S (seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu and Shitsuke); concept PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Action) is are important steps towards efficiency and effectiveness of a production process that is also the principle of productivity. In other words, if well implemented Kaizen concept to a company / industry so that productivity can be achieved with good work. Then correlations between Work Productivity Kaizen with very closely, line, and support each other in efforts to increase labor productivity.

Kaizen Focused on Continuous Improvement Efforts

In Japanese, kaizen means continuous improvement. The term includes the notion of improvement involving everyone, both managers and employees, and involves a fee in an amount not how. Kaizen (??) consists of two kanji that? ( kai ) meaning ??? changes and ?( zen ) means ??( yoi ) goodness . In the language of china called gaishan (??) , gai (?) means that changes or corrective actions shan (?) means either or profits . Kaizen concept is crucial to explain the differences between the views of Japanese and Western views of the management. The most important difference between Japanese and Western management concepts is Kaizen Japanese way of thinking and process-oriented whereas Western thinking about results-oriented reforms. Focus on Shitsuke that Which Sustains all 4 other Elements

To apply the 5S concept, we must focus on the element of ” Shitsuke ” that which sustains all 4 other elements . Planting element ” Shitsuke ” is a very important point . Consider the chart below control cycle . It is important for the control cycle to increase over time. Likewise, the pillar ” Shitsuke ” which should have increased along with the increase in the quality of 5S activities . 4S which consists of ” Seiri ” , ” Seiton ” , ” Seiso ” and ” Seiketsu ” is an element that we apply to the goods / particular problem as an object . As with the ” Shitsuke ” which is an element that is applied to ourselves. Therefore , ” Shitsuke ” is not a factor in the innate nature of ourselves, but things should be taught to be applied . Therefore the application of the element of ” Shitsuke ” against employees also different , tailored to the nature , way of thinking , ability to work , and various other factors of each person .
